DWN

DISTRIBUTE media through active relationships with your constituents.

Aquifer Media can assist your organization with developing a distribution plan that gets your message directly to the public without relying on traditional media structures. The "broadcast" or "sender-receiver" model is not effective in the Digital Age. Instead organizations must strive to create two-way/interactive relationships with their constituents.

CASE STUDY:

One way to do this is through social networking sites, a parallel web network where people can link with others with similar interests and concerns.

As one component in a web-based campaign, Will Coley created the MySpace profile for the Detention Watch Network (DWN), a national coalition working to educate the public and policy makers about the U.S. immigration detention and deportation system and advocate for humane reform. The profile has nearly 4,000 'friends' who can further the work of DWN.
